Courier Status Updates: Peak Shipping and Canada Post Strike
Here’s the latest courier status update for Wednesday, December 11, 2024:
Purolator
- Temporary pause on Purolator shipments.
UPS
- UPS Standard Domestic Service: No pickups available. Packages must be dropped off at an authorized UPS location.
- Expect service disruptions and delays across the network.
FedEx
- Same-day Express Pickups: Temporarily suspended across Canada. Please schedule for next-day pickup.
- Ground Service Pickups in Ontario: Suspended in most Ontario markets until mid-next week.
- Ground Service Pickups outside Ontario: Still available in BC, AB, QC, and the Maritimes.
Expect service disruptions and delays across the network.
GLS
- GLS services, excluding Quebec-to-Quebec shipments, are temporarily paused.
Canpar
- Packages to remote areas may see delays.
- Due to higher than usual shipping volumes, Canpar is experiencing delays in their shipping processes, such as:
-Slowdowns in processing shipments online and occasional timeouts, but these have been intermittent.
-They are working with their system administrators to ensure that shipping operations remain available and stable.
DHL
